Student Enrollment Specialist, Unbound Academy (Remote) - $40,000/year USD

Core academics are completed in a condensed timeframe with AI-enhanced learning support, allowing students to dedicate the remainder of their day to hands-on projects and enrichment activities that build practical skills. You will serve as the primary human connection for families considering this educational path.
Your week will include rapid responses to new inquiries, facilitating families through each stage of the admissions journey, and converting early interest into completed enrollment. You will also attend and lead local community events to expand awareness and generate prospective student leads. During periods of lower enrollment activity, you will support operational functions while remaining prepared for the next enrollment cycle.

What You Will Be Doing
• Reaching out to new inbound inquiries within a 24-hour window and beginning the admissions dialogue over the phone
• Communicating Unbound Academy's virtual learning structure and enrollment procedures in straightforward, accessible terms
• Maintaining structured follow-up to advance families from initial inquiry through application completion to enrollment
• Recording all engagement details in a CRM, including precise notes, next actions, and pipeline status
• Planning and conducting local recruitment events across Texas or Arizona to introduce the school and generate fresh leads
What You Won’t Be Doing
• Allowing inbound inquiries to sit unaddressed while you focus on administrative tasks
• Reading from rigid scripts or functioning in a high-volume call center environment
• Participating in events as a passive observer rather than actively presenting and capturing leads
• Devoting most of your time to back-office duties during active enrollment periods

Basic Requirements
• Currently based in Arizona with availability for a hybrid work arrangement
• 1–2 years of customer service experience or equivalent customer-facing work
• Background working with children or families in settings such as schools, camps, childcare, tutoring, or comparable environments
• Confident making regular phone calls and leading families through processes with multiple steps
• Effective verbal communication ability with a talent for quickly establishing trust
• Working knowledge of CRM platforms or digital tools for lead management
Nice-to-have Requirements
• Prior work in admissions, enrollment, inside sales, or lead qualification
• Hands-on experience organizing or delivering presentations at community events or outreach initiatives
• Academic background in communications, education, or a related discipline
