Territory Account Manager

At OneSpan, we specialize in digital identity and anti-fraud solutions that create exceptional and secure experiences.We are looking for an experienced Territory Account Manager in Mexico — a true sales hunter — to help accelerate growth in the region, with a strong focus on banking, large financial institutions, fintechs, retail, and e-commerce.
This is a proactive, opportunity-driven sales role for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships and creating momentum in the market. The ideal candidate is energized by direct customer engagement, opening new conversations, and developing opportunities through their professional network and market presence.
Mexico is a strategic growth market for us, and this role is expected to drive new logos and expansion through direct customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Own a defined segment of the Mexico territory, with full responsibility for pipeline generation, deal execution, and revenue growth
Actively develop new business opportunities across the Mexican market, particularly within banking, financial services, and other large enterprises
Leverage an existing network of senior decision-makers and industry relationships to open conversations and generate opportunities
Proactively hunt for new opportunities through frequent customer engagement, including direct outreach, in-person meetings, customer dinners, and relationship-building activities
Build and maintain strong, consultative customer relationships by understanding business challenges and security priorities
Understand what truly moves deals forward and prioritize actions that lead to successful closes
Lead complex enterprise sales cycles for cybersecurity and digital security solutions, including authentication, application shielding, fraud prevention, and risk and security analytics for financial services
Work closely with Sales Engineers and actively contribute to customer discussions by clearly explaining product fundamentals, articulating how the technology works at a practical level, and linking technical capabilities to measurable customer value
Maintain strong execution discipline through pipeline management, opportunity progression, and forecasting accuracy
Travel regularly within Mexico to meet customers and partners

Brings a well-established professional network within Mexican banking and financial services
Is mature, self-directed, reliable, and able to work independently with strong organizational skills
Learns quickly and enjoys understanding the technical aspects of security solutions
Takes ownership of their work and follows through consistently on commitments
Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively with internal teams

Minimum Requirements

8+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a strong background selling security solutions to financial institutions (e.g., authentication, mobile security, fraud prevention, risk analytics)
Proven experience engaging directly with senior stakeholders in banks and large enterprises
Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Ability to generate opportunities immediately using an existing professional network
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Willingness to travel regularly within Mexico and comfort working remotely
Fluency in Spanish and working proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in high-performance, demanding sales organizations at large technology or security vendors
Ability to balance commercial discussions with a solid technical understanding
Experience beyond banking, including retail or e-commerce
