Provide skilled nursing care to post-critical medical and surgical patients in a step-down unit that demands vigilant observation and expert clinical judgment. This position requires delivering comprehensive bedside care to a diverse patient population, including those requiring ventilator support and continuous monitoring. The role also involves supervising nursing staff and coordinating interdisciplinary care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and coordinate nursing care based on established standards and the nursing process. • Supervise and direct nursing staff activities, fostering a collaborative team environment. • Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment in managing patient care and responding to clinical changes. • Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to develop and implement patient care plans. • Provide direct bedside care and continuous assessment to patients in a step-down setting. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards.
