About the Security and Privacy Technical Program Management Team
The Security and Privacy Technical Program Management team is a force multiplier for the security organization, partnering closely with engineering and product teams across Netflix to deliver impactful and scalable security initiatives. The team collaborates with leaders inside and outside the organization to align on strategic goals and vision, furthering the security roadmaps for partnering teams in a business-driven way. They work with stakeholders to establish and drive initiatives that move the needle on this, driving large, at-scale security initiatives across multiple product and central engineering organizations.

The Opportunity
As a Technical Program Manager (L5) - Games Security, you will drive large, at-scale security initiatives across multiple product and central engineering organizations with stakeholders ranging from senior leadership, product managers, engineering managers, and developers. This is a great opportunity to help mature the security posture in the most rapidly growing parts of the business and gain intimate knowledge of Netflix's products and services. These are highly visible and cross-functional efforts that require technical thought leadership across Netflix's engineering and product organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Drive large, at-scale security initiatives across multiple product and central engineering organizations
Partner with stakeholders to establish and drive initiatives that move the needle on security roadmaps
Collaborate with leaders inside and outside the organization to align on strategic goals and vision
Work with the Games Security Product Manager to translate business requirements into defining the security product framework and drive the security strategy for the Netflix Games ecosystem
Lead critical initiatives, build technical execution plans, and oversee the development of quarterly roadmaps
Work with numerous stakeholders across Security, Product, and Engineering to reduce risk and increase security posture


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:

A strong understanding of the overall security domain and the ability to gain a technical understanding of programs across their lifecycle
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear articulation of business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience
A demonstrated ability to establish a vision and execute on it
Ability to triage multiple initiatives and make judgments to tackle the right problems at the right time
Familiarity with product security principles and best practices, and experience developing and driving security initiatives


Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:

A strategic understanding of the gaming ecosystem, its exposure to security threats, and industry actors who play a role in Netflix gaming security
Experience working with microservices architecture, data science and engineering, content delivery networks, and production studios
Ability to identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches, and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs
