Technical Motion Designer (Rive)
We are seeking a talented Technical Motion Designer with a focus on Rive technology to join our innovative team. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend motion design with front-end engineering in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Design and implement interactive animations using Rive across various product surfaces.
ā¢ Translate motion concepts into production-ready assets while ensuring performance and scalability.
ā¢ Own the animation logic, including state machines and databinds within Rive.
ā¢ Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate animations into real products.
ā¢ Define best practices for motion design and implementation.
ā¢ Build tools for designers to modify Rive files at runtime.
Skills
ā¢ Strong front-end engineering skills, particularly in JavaScript and TypeScript.
ā¢ Proficiency in Rive, including experience with state machines and advanced databinds.
ā¢ Solid understanding of animation principles such as timing and choreography.
ā¢ Ability to debug and iterate on motion directly in code.
ā¢ Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively between design and engineering teams.
Preferred Skills
ā¢ Experience with React, React Native, or similar frameworks.
ā¢ Familiarity with animation tools like After Effects.
ā¢ Background in building design systems or reusable motion systems.
ā¢ Interest in real-time, interactive, or generative animation.
