The role involves researching and drafting FCC pleadings, court motions, and advising clients on regulatory compliance issues. Responsibilities Researching and drafting FCC pleadings and related filings Drafting court motions, briefs and other pleadings Preparing for depositions and managing the discovery process Strategizing on how to help clients reach their regulatory and legislative goals Advising on regulatory compliance issues Assisting with due diligence for transactions Skills Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school Must be admitted or eligible for admission in the District of Columbia Excellent written and oral communication skills Professionalism in working and engaging with clients and colleagues Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and balance competing responsibilities Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Company Overview Mintz is a general practice, full service law firm servicing public corporations, privately held businesses and entrepreneurs.
