Team Leader
About the position
The Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving operational, sales, and merchandising goals while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. This role emphasizes creating a safe and productive work environment and involves training Team Members on policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Ā Assist Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in operational, sales, and merchandising objectives.

Ā Deliver Legendary Customer Service by following the GURA method: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Appreciate the customer.

Ā Execute assigned merchandising activities including basic, promotional, and seasonal tasks.
,
Ā Perform opening and closing procedures for the store.
,
Ā Transport and make deposits to the bank.
,
Ā Assess store conditions and assign duties to Team Members.
,
Ā Organize and prioritize workflow using a daily planner.
,
Ā Recover merchandise and participate in the freight process.
,
Ā Perform regular and promotional price changes.
,
Ā Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive shopping experience.
,
Ā Adhere to loss prevention standards and respond to alarm calls as needed.
,
Ā Communicate job functions and responsibilities to Team Members.
,
Ā Operate cash register and supervise cash handling procedures.
,
Ā Assist Team Members with policy and procedure applications.
,
Ā Ensure the safety and well-being of birds and maintain poultry holding tanks.

Ā Operate forklift and baler as required.
Requirements
Ā Retail experience and/or knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred.

Ā Supervisory experience is preferred.
,
Ā Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
,
Ā High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
,
Ā Ability to read, write, and count accurately.

Ā Basic computer skills.
