Tax Alchemy is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tax Pro to join our dynamic, fully-remote team. In this role, you will become an essential part of our mission to provide exceptional tax planning services to our high net worth clients, helping them optimize their financial outcomes. You will leverage your expertise in tax preparation, compliance, and planning to provide strategic advice and work with our team to develop tailored tax plans for each client. You will meet with clients routinely build a strategic partnership and to provide implementation guidance. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and support. • Conduct onboarding calls with clients. • Provide tailored tax planning and consulting services to clients. • Lead quarterly implementation review calls with clients. • Address complex, specific inquiries regarding tax strategies. • Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to advise clients effectively. • Respond to complex client questions in Slack channels. • Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall tax service offering and improve processes. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Proven experience in tax preparation and planning, preferably in a CPA firm, for 3-5 years. • CPA certification or EA designation is highly preferred. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. • Advanced knowledge of corporate and personal tax planning strategies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team members. • Proficiency in tax software like UltraTax, workflow software like Canopy, the Google Workspace, and communication software like Zoom and Slack.
