Tax Consultant II, SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)

The role involves leading business process modeling for GTS projects, collaborating with clients to define requirements, and ensuring compliance with regulations while implementing SAP solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead and/or facilitate business process definition and modeling for GTS projectsCollaborating with clients and stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for GTS projectsTranslate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development and configurationCoordinate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestonesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automation within SAP GTS solutionsGuide a team to implement and configure the software to replicate the required business processes and analytical/reporting needsDevelop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and client teamsEnsure that SAP GTS solutions comply with relevant regulations, standards, and organizational policiesDevelop your knowledge of and gain project experience in SAP's newest and future solutions such as SAP S/4 & SAP GTS, Edition for HANACollaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and business teams, to ensure seamless service delivery and supportSkillsBachelor's degree in a legal, business or technology related fieldAbility to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week1+ years relevant SAP consulting or industry experience with a demonstrated understanding of the supply chain management processesProven experience in other SAP modules other than SAP GTS along with technical knowledge in ABAP and SAP PLLimited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel up to 10-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveOne of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, If not CPA eligible: Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, Certifications: CUSECO (Certified U.S. Export Control Officer), CUSICO (Certified US Import Compliance Officer), CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Project Management; Professional (PMP), Other: Vendor certification for management of implementations (Oracle, SAP, Thomson Reuters, etc.) or relevant industry certification such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), AWS (Amazon Web Services) or GCP (Google Cloud Platform)Experience implementing one or more of the following SAP GTS Modules: (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Trade Preference)Knowledge of export regulations including ITAR/EARExperience presenting to clients or other decision makersStrong research, writing, verbal communication, and project management skills utilizing PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or VisioUnderstanding of end to end processes and attention to detailed designBenefitsDiscretionary annual incentive programCompany OverviewDeloitte is a business consulting company that offers audit, consulting, financial advisory, and tax services.
