TAX ASSOCIATE / STAFF ACCOUNTANT (FLEXIBLE/SEASONAL)

"Burned out from public accounting? Flexible Seasonal CPA Role (no year-round grind)
We are seeking an experienced CPA or Enrolled Agent who is looking for:
ā¢ Part-time to full-time work during tax seasons, and
ā¢ Part-time, flexible work during the off-season
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who wants to stay engaged in public accounting without the grind of a traditional full-time year-round role.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Prepare and review individual, partnership, and S corporation tax returns
ā¢ Review bookkeeping and general ledger activity for accuracy
ā¢ Review payroll reports and filings
ā¢ Identify errors, inconsistencies, and tax-saving opportunities
ā¢ Assist with client questions and technical tax matters
ā¢ Provide light advisory input where applicable
Qualifications
ā¢ CPA or EA designation required
ā¢ 5-10+ years of public accounting experience preferred
ā¢ Strong tax review skills (1040, 1065, 1041, 1120S, 1120)
ā¢ Comfortable reviewing bookkeeping and payroll work
ā¢ Experience with UltraTax CS or similar software preferred
ā¢ Detail-oriented and able to work independently
ā¢ Values flexibility but still meets deadlines
Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
