What You’ll Do
As a Tax Associate at EZ FILE NOW, you’ll play a key role in delivering personalized, accurate, and timely tax support to our diverse client base. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic virtual team, contribute to strategic tax planning, and provide outstanding client service—all from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review individual, sole proprietor, and small business tax returns (1040, Schedule C, etc.)
• Assist with tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and small business owners
• Support client communications via email, phone, and secure portal
• Keep up with the latest IRS regulations and tax code changes
• Collaborate with our team to improve processes and enhance the client experience
• Contribute to educational content or webinars if desired (we encourage thought leadership)
What We’re Looking For
• 1–3 years of tax preparation or tax advisory experience (not necessarily in a CPA firm)
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
• Experience with tax software (Drake, ProConnect, or similar)
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with clients remotely
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required if experience is strong
