About the position Assist in the preparation and review of numerous federal proformas and state/city returns Research various issues Coordiante with outside CPA firm Manage various return and report filings for the company’s Puerto Rico entities Organize the tax compliance processes by working with various finance departments to obtain accurate information for state purposes as well as ensure timely filings for over 300 state and local returns Manage the process of uploading trial balances into the General Ledger Manager and pushing them into OneSource Tax Provision software Assist in the preparation of income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740-Accounting for Income Taxes, as well as the reconciliation of tax account balances Active in updating and managing asset additions and disposals in BNA Fixed Assets Assist with various state audits by timely responding to information requests and communication with auditors in order to efficiently close open audits Manage the distribution and resolution of over 200 state tax notices Attend seminars Resume to: [email protected] Responsibilities • Preparation and review of federal proformas and state/city returns • Research various issues • Coordinate with outside CPA firm • Manage return and report filings for Puerto Rico entities • Organize tax compliance processes • Ensure timely filings for over 300 state and local returns • Manage uploading trial balances into General Ledger Manager and OneSource Tax Provision software • Assist in preparation of income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 • Reconcile tax account balances • Update and manage asset additions and disposals in BNA Fixed Assets • Assist with state audits • Manage distribution and resolution of state tax notices • Attend seminars Apply tot his job
