Talent Acquisition Intern

Remote Full-time
This internship will focus on researching and strengthening our candidate journey from application to offer. You will audit and rewrite interview and rejection templates to ensure clarity and inclusivity. You will document and visualize our full hiring process to improve alignment and reduce bottlenecks. You will support interview logistics while identifying patterns that slow us down. And you will produce employer-brand content such as a "What to Expect When You Interview at Common Cause" blog or LinkedIn posts that explain our nonpartisan hiring philosophy. The goal is to learn what constitutes as a strong recruitment playbook, understand how to improve candidate communications, and understand data-informed recommendations to enhance both efficiency and trust in our process. You will also support our internship reviews and identify areas for improvement.

This internship will provide you with valuable experience in talent acquisition, employer branding, process improvement, and stakeholder management. You'll gain critical skills in systems-thinking, inclusive communication, and data-driven decision making. If you're interested in the intersection of HR, operations, and organizational culture, this is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience and make a meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities:

Research and map our current hiring process to identify friction points and opportunities for enhancement

Audit and rewrite interview and rejection templates to ensure clarity, inclusivity, and alignment with our values

Develop employer-brand content that showcases our hiring philosophy and candidate experience

Support interview scheduling, coordination, and data tracking to uncover process bottlenecks

Contribute to internship program reviews and help implement recommended improvements

Desired Skills and Experience:

Strong systems-thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex processes

Excellent written and verbal communication, with a talent for crafting inclusive messaging

Solid operational and project management skills, including attention to detail

Passion for talent acquisition, organizational culture, and public trust

Familiarity with recruiting technologies and data analysis a plus
