Systems Integration Engineer

Position Summary: The Systems Integration Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations, tools, and automations that connect Eventus clinical, operational, and corporate systems. Working closely with the Director of Intelligent Systems, this role translates architectural designs and product requirements into reliable production systems that support clinicians, operational teams, and leadership across more than 1,250 healthcare facilities. This position sits within the Learning & Intelligence organization and contributes to scalable, secure, and well-governed systems that improve workflow efficiency, enable data visibility, and strengthen operational decision-making across the enterprise. Quali fications: Education, Licensure and Certifications, Related Work Experience · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience · 1–5 years of experience in software development, systems integration, or solutions engineering (or equivalent demonstrated capability through projects, coursework, or open-source work) Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities 1. Design and build integrations, internal tools, and automations supporting clinical and operational workflows 2. Translate architectural designs into reliable, production-ready systems 3. Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to validate technical approaches 4. Design, implement, and maintain integrations using REST APIs and other system interfaces 5. Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to align integrations with enterprise data strategy 6. Maintain and enhance existing microservices, integrations, and automation systems 7. Implement monitoring, alerting, and fail-safe mechanisms to ensure system reliability and data protection 8. Ensure systems are maintainable, observable, and resilient as they scale 9. Create and maintain documentation including runbooks, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting guides 10. Build reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools when required; perform other related duties as assigned 11. Other related duties as assigned. Training and Education: · Participate in all assigned training. · Complete all assigned training by the deadline for completion. Risk Management and Incident Reporting: · Engage in regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and work proactively with a supervisor and Eventus WholeHealth’s Chief Compliance and Risk Officer to mitigate any identified risks. · Promptly report any incidents (as defined in the “Incident Report Policy”) to the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer. Other specialized skills and knowledge necessary to perform this job. (e.g., basic accounting principles, computer skills and software, specific healthcare processes, interpersonal, communication, etc. 1. Strong programming fundamentals; proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python) 3. Familiarity with API-based integration patterns and RESTful services 2. Experience working with structured data and writing queries (e.g., SQL) 4. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code or similar)
