We’re looking for a Systems Engineer who thrives at the intersection of network engineering, hardware integration, and real-world deployment. What You’ll Do Design & Deploy Engineer and implement wired and wireless network systems across enterprise and industrial environments Conduct site surveys, diagnostics, and installation validation Troubleshoot performance using tools like AirMagnet and Ekahau Work with core networking protocols: TCP/IP, VLANs, Wi-Fi standards Innovate & Build Partner with Solutions Architects and Project Managers to design and test prototype systems Help develop installation guides and deployment strategies Evaluate emerging technologies and support field-level testing Integrate Hardware Collaborate with OEMs on advanced hardware integrations Support technologies like CANbus, Modbus, telematics, and fleet safety systems Lead pilot programs and help bring new solutions to market Engage & Lead Act as a customer-facing technical expert during deployments and troubleshooting Translate complex technical concepts into clear solutions Collaborate across teams to ensure successful system implementation How You’ll Make an Impact Your success will be measured by your ability to: Deliver reliable, scalable system designs Execute successful pilot programs and deployments Build strong partnerships with customers and internal teams What You Bring Required Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years designing/supporting wired and wireless networks Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing & switching Experience with RF/wireless principles and site surveys Understanding of hardware integration or embedded systems Excellent communication skills Valid driver’s license & ability to travel extensively Preferred Certifications: CCNA, CWNA, or similar Experience with OEM integrations or telematics systems Familiarity with CANbus/Modbus communication Hands-on troubleshooting with diagnostic tools Experience with platforms like Salesforce Work Environment Remote-based with up to 80% nationwide travel Work across diverse environments: warehouses, data centers, outdoor sites Hands-on role involving climbing, lifting (50+ lbs), and field equipment use Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends as needed Why Velociti?
