SVP, Independent Risk

Develop and implement risk management strategies in line with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
Monitor and assess risks across all areas of the organization, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
Provide leadership and direction to the risk management team, ensuring clear communication and alignment with the organization's objectives.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, and adapt risk management strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with other senior leaders to review and improve risk management processes and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans to minimize potential threats to the organization.
Monitor and report on key risk indicators to senior management and the board of directors.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to risk management.
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulators and auditors.
Provide training and guidance to employees on risk management best practices.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools in risk management and recommend their implementation as appropriate.
Foster a culture of risk awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.
Lead and participate in crisis management and business continuity planning.
Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board of directors on the organization's risk profile and strategies.
Mentor and develop junior members of the risk management team.
