Join our Clinical Research team and play a vital role in improving the patient and family experience throughout the clinical trial journey. As a Clinical Research Program Navigator, you will guide patients with cancer and their families by connecting them to resources, removing barriers to care, and ensuring a smooth, supportive experience from start to finish. Collaborate closely with Research teams, care providers and support services to enhance processes, improve outcomes, and ensure patients receive the highest level of coordinated care.As a successful candidate, you will: Serve as a primary point of contact for clinical trial patients and families, providing guidance, education, and ongoing supportIntroduce patients to available programs, services and resources. Help navigate the care continuumAssess patient and family needs, identify potential barriers, coordinate solutions to support treatment adherenceAct as a liaison between research, clinical teams, and support departments to improve the overall care experienceProvide proactive follow-up, including post-treatment check-ins and appointment reminders for at-risk patients.Assist with scheduling coordination and ensure efficient, patient-centered care planningDocument patient interactions and maintain accurate records
Your qualifications should include: Bachelor's Degree5 years or more of experience working in a hospital/healthcare setting and interacting collaboratively with medical teamsStrong customer service skillsDemonstrate skills in written and verbal communication including good phone etiquetteGood problem solving skillsDisplay sensitivity to patient care, privacy and cultural needs.Preferred education, experience and skills:Master's Degree in Health or Health-related fieldKnowledge of oncology healthcare and psychosocial needsPrevious grant and/or clinical trial experience City of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.To learn more about our Comprehensive Benefits, please CLICK HERE.
