Sustainment Engineer - SEAD

Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace and defense company, and they are seeking a Sustainment Engineer for their Advanced Development Program. This three-year rotational program offers opportunities in various Sustainment disciplines, aiming to develop future leaders in the field through hands-on experience and training. Responsibilities Participate in 3 one-year rotations in RMS Global Sustainment disciplines such as Sustainment Operations, Information Systems & Innovation, Supply Chain Management & Depot Operations, Field Sustainment, Courseware & Training and Technical Publications Gain exposure to Program Integration skillsets, including Project Management, Proposal Management, Customer Interface, Earned Value, Subcontract Managements and Quality Complete a cross functional business capstone project by the 3rd year Engage in team leadership training, networking, mentorship, and volunteering Build a career path that leads to leadership responsibilities within the Sustainment domain Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in related engineering or business discipline with a strong interest in sustainment, operations management, supply chain management, logistics management, logistics and transportation, business management, general management, data analytics, logistics, sustainability and sustainment, computer science, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, logistics engineering, or engineering management Microsoft Office Proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) Basic understanding of Logistics and Sustainment Demonstrated analytical and leadership skills Direct involvement in process improvement initiatives Related work experience (co-op, internship or part/full-time employment) Must be a US Citizen This position will require government security clearance Candidate must be willing to relocate to any of the listed locations or other LM sites while on program Candidate must be willing to accommodate flexible work shifts depending on business needs Candidate must commit to the entirety of the three-year program Problem solver/solution focused Ability and willingness to flexible location assignments, specifically remote locations Detail oriented, team oriented and strong interpersonal skills/communication skills Ability to effectively work with internal & external customers Ability to work independently and work with limited direction to accomplish project goals Ability to multi-task efficiently and exhibit effective problem solving and process improvement skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focusing on innovative systems solutions Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Ability and willingness to relocate annually while on program Interest and motivation in attaining future Sustainment related leadership roles within Lockheed Martin Experience in continuous improvement/process analysis Ability to work as a team and manage a small portion of a program or small program Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance Short-Term Disability Long-Term Disability 401(k) match Flexible Spending Accounts EAP Education Assistance Parental Leave Paid time off Holidays Company Overview Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that specializes in advanced technology systems, products, and services.
