Driver Recruiting & Operations Coordinator | $55K-$75K + Quarterly Bonus | 100% Paid Medical Blue Ox Transport — FedEx Ground Linehaul | Arden Hills, MN (Hybrid) Help us hire great drivers and grow from 18 trucks to 150. We're a Minnesota-based FedEx Ground linehaul contractor that started in 2014 with one truck and now runs 18 across five terminals. Our 10-year goal is 150 trucks. To get there, we need someone who can find, hire, and keep great drivers — and help our office operation scale alongside the fleet. This is a hybrid role based out of Arden Hills, MN. Monday-Friday, 9-5 core hours. Some evening and weekend texting with applicants is part of the job (drivers don't work bankers' hours, so neither does our recruiter sometimes). What you'll own: Driver recruiting (~65% of the role). Posting jobs, managing Indeed and ZipRecruiter feeds, running paid Meta campaigns, screening applicants, conducting structured phone and video interviews, recommending hires. Onboarding and compliance (~20%). Background checks, drug tests, MVRs, driver qualification files, license and medical card tracking. Our compliance has to be airtight — FedEx audits us regularly. Driver retention and culture (~10%). Birthdays, work anniversaries, milestone tracking, helping management spot issues before drivers walk. Good drivers leave when they feel forgotten — your job is to make sure they don't. Office and ops support (~5%). Uniform inventory, dispatch coordination, data entry, general operational record-keeping. What you earn:
$55,000-$75,000 annual base , depending on experience Quarterly performance bonus based on driver pipeline speed, social media output, driver relationship quality, and compliance accuracy Routine medical 100% company paid — base plan, fully covered 401(k) with discretionary annual matching Dental, vision, and life insurance PTO scaling with tenure: 2 weeks Year 1 → 3 weeks Year 3 → 4 weeks Year 5 Direct path to expanded HR and operations leadership as the fleet grows What we need from you: Strong computer skills — you'll be using and learning new software constantly (we run our recruiting and ops on a custom platform you'll help operate) Hands-on experience with Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or similar job boards Hands-on experience running Facebook/Meta business advertising Strong social media posting, branding, and management skills Confident, professional communication on the phone and in writing Comfortable with Microsoft 365, Teams, and modern workplace tools Genuine attention to detail (driver compliance files don't tolerate sloppy) Sound judgment when evaluating candidates — we're hiring for safety-critical roles, and one bad hire can hurt our FedEx contract Recruiting, HR, logistics, or transportation experience is helpful but not required. We'll train the right person. What this role looks like in practice: You'll spend mornings reviewing yesterday's applicants, scheduling phone screens, and pushing forward the candidates already in the pipeline. Afternoons are split between interviews, compliance work, and posting/refreshing job ads. Some days you'll spend two hours in dispatch helping cover an absence. Some weeks you'll run a Facebook ad campaign and write the copy yourself. The Blue Ox Difference Family-owned, FedEx Ground contractor since 2014.
