Support Engineer

The Support Engineer will provide first line technical support to field engineers and customers, maintain spare parts inventory, and conduct training both on-site and in the applications lab. This role requires travel to support field operations and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve hardware and software issues.ResponsibilitiesResponsible to provide first line technical support to field engineers and customers using technical documentation, telephone support and remote diagnostic toolsMaintain spare parts inventory, applications lab equipment, and provide on-site customer and factory trainingTravel as necessary to support field operations and cross train field engineersProvide technical phone support to customers and field service personnel worldwide for Bruker AXS productsPerform system repairs and maintain repair documentation of customer material and return to stock parts from the fieldProvide input and create service bulletins and other technical documentationConfigure computers and peripherals as requiredContribute to the development and delivery of service training classesAssist in the development and updating of technical maintenance manualsWork closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve hardware and software problems in the fieldEnsure Corrective/Preventive Action Reports (CPAR) are submitted as necessaryAbility to travel, as necessary to support field operations.
