We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor Quality Assurance to join our team on the 2nd shift, working from 2pm to 10:30pm, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Overview
The Supervisor, Quality Assurance (QA) will play a critical role in leading and developing our quality personnel and providing guidance to cross-functional teams to support the quality and food safety requirements of our products. This role will also support and enforce certification, regulatory, customer, and brand requirements, and implement continuous improvement projects to meet these requirements. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising, leading, and motivating a team of quality personnel on the manufacturing floor and in the QA Lab to deliver results and achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of quality personnel to deliver results by communicating company goals, including quality and customer satisfaction, safety practices, and deadlines
Engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training
Implement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus, and embody company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
Manage and support the Consolidated Management System (CMS) program to ensure company quality assurance specifications and regulatory requirements are met
Manage the processing of laboratory data, monitor data for accuracy, analyze data, recognize unfavorable trends, and make process improvement recommendations
Support and assist in audits from internal and external regulatory, certification, customer, and brand owner sources


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

An Associate's degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school in a relevant field such as Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or Health Sciences
1-3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
Knowledge of lab equipment and testing within a manufacturing environment
Math and analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and computer skills including MS Office, statistical software, SAP, and Kronos
Ability to multitask, develop teams, manage time, and communicate effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with seasonal temperatures, flexible shifts, and weekend and holiday work based on business needs


Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

Degree or experience in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or Health Sciences
Familiarity with High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC) Technology
Knowledge of microbial and aseptic techniques
Experience with sanitation and beverage processes

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $62,000 - $82,500 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including:
