What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise coders and assist with training new staff, managing performance and workload goals
- Support the coding manager with scheduling, payroll, and physician education
- Provide production coding assistance as needed
- Build strong relationships and facilitate communication across departments to resolve errors
- Organize and monitor special projects to ensure timely and accurate completion
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in a Health Information related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of an Associate’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a production coder, including ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT/HCPCS coding
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Professional Coding Certification

- Experience with revenue cycle management processes
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance regulations
- Strong analytical skills for data assessment and process improvement
- Ability to implement action plans for operational enhancements
