Summer Marketing Intern
About Plots Ready to help solve the loneliness epidemic? Join Plots, the event discovery and social networking app that's connecting people IRL and bringing authentic in-person experiences back to Gen Z. We're looking for a creative, energetic marketing intern to help us grow our community of event hosts and attendees across Los Angeles. This internship will be 8 weeks long, beginning in Bel Air and the remaining time will be working out of our office in Santa Monica. What you'll do: • Create engaging social media content for Instagram & TikTok+Content calendar • Support influencer outreach and partnership campaigns • Help execute and ideate unique marketing and growth strategies • Assist with event marketing and community building initiatives • Track and analyze marketing metrics to optimize campaign performance What we're looking for: • Currently enrolled student with a passion for social media and digital marketing • Creative mindset with strong writing and content creation skills • Understanding of Gen Z culture and social media trends • Experience with Instagram, TikTok, or other social platforms (personal or professional) • Interest in events, nightlife, community building, social platforms or tech is a plus • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is able to self manage What you'll gain: • Real startup experience working at an A16Z Speedrun backed company tackling the loneliness epidemic • College Credits •insight from a previously exited founder, our CTO & co-founder, Ryan Ogle (Founding CTO of Tinder) • Hands-on experience with viral marketing campaigns and exclusive product launches • Portfolio of social media content and marketing materials you created • Direct mentorship from our CMO & Head of Events and Marketing •Experience interfacing with UGC marketing agencies that directly partner with TikTok, Spotify and other industry leaders • Networking opportunities with event hosts, influencers, and industry professionals • Insight into product development and go-to-market strategies • Experience with marketing tools and analytics platforms • Letter of recommendation and LinkedIn endorsements • Potential for full-time opportunities based on performance Join our mission to help facilitate meaningful real life connections.
