They are looking to expand their Structural Engineering Department by hiring Structural Engineering Designers, who will be responsible for preparing engineering contract documents, conducting structural analysis, and designing various structures.ResponsibilitiesPreparing structural engineering contract documents for new construction and renovation projectsBuilding modelingStructural analysisConducting condition assessmentsDesigning concrete, steel, timber and masonry structuresProjects include vertical construction, transportation facilities and infrastructure improvementsSkills0 to 3 years experience in the field of structural engineeringPassed the FE exam (or are working towards taking the exam)Hold a degree in Civil or Architectural EngineeringProficiency with Revit modelingExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)Strong written and oral communication skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a project teamApplicants may be required to pass a background check for security clearancesExperience with AutoCADExperience with RAM and/or Risa structural modeling softwareBenefitsFlexible work scheduleComprehensive benefit package401k matching programCompany OverviewHunt Engineering Company has been committed to responsive service and innovative design solutions since 1980.
