Strategy and Transformation Consultant - FULLY REMOTE - Only W2
We are looking for a Senior Strategy & Transformation Consultant to lead enterprise-level transformation initiatives within the Retail segment.
Required Experience & Skills
⢠Strong Senior level Consulting & Analytical skills specifically within Strategy and Transformation projects, ideally in retail
⢠Must be able to break down complex problems, perform root-cause analysis, and size opportunities.
⢠Must be able to create and implement strategic roadmaps
⢠Experience analyzing data, building financial models, and evaluating business cases is key
⢠Able to translate insights into clear recommendations and executive-ready deliverables.
Tools & Technical Skills
⢠PowerPoint/storyboarding and Excel modeling.
⢠Project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana).
⢠Data visualization tools (Power BI or similar, optional).
Transformation & Project Leadership
⢠Lead or support enterprise transformation programs across operational, digital, strategic, or organizational domains, including defining workstreams, identifying dependencies, implementing process improvements, and tracking performance metrics to drive measurable business impact.
⢠Operational: optimization of labor, labor forecasting, etc.
⢠Digital: transformation of labor
⢠Process/Organizational: transformation and implementation of improvements
⢠Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, adoption, and sustainable change.
⢠Manage multiple workstreams, track milestones, and monitor risks and dependencies.
⢠Engage cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, and drive consensus.
⢠Apply change management principles to support adoption and transitions.
Industry & Domain Knowledge (Nice-to-Have)
⢠Energy / Oil & Gas: downstream retail, fuel operations, network optimization.
⢠Retail: customer experience, store performance, convenience retail trends.
Day to Day
⢠Develop the strategic roadmap for the retail segment.
⢠Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives across multiple workstreams.
⢠Lead the implementation of transformation projects using structured project management approaches.
⢠Support business performance improvements within major strategic transformation programs.
