About the Role As a Store Associate at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about helping people and making a difference in their lives. Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively identifying and resolving potential issues. Focusing on the customer by giving a warm and pleasant greeting, maintaining eye contact, and providing help finding additional items as needed. Performing cashier responsibilities – managing cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in merchandise, updating pricing information, and completing stock control obligations as directed by the store manager. Assisting with setting out and last store activities as needed. Providing customer service to all departments, including Photo and Beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational while staying current with all up-to-date offerings and services. Assisting pharmacy staff as needed, including working everyday shifts within the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development. Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our mission of helping people on their path to better health. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications: At least 16 years of age. Physical requirements: Standing upright at the feet, mainly for sustained periods of time. Lifting and exerting as much as 35 lbs of strain occasionally, up to 10 lbs of pressure regularly, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, which includes overhead lifting. Visible acuity – having close visible acuity to carry out tasks consisting of viewing a laptop terminal, reading, visual inspection regarding small factors/information. Bachelor's degree; however, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Prior experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred.
