Sterling Order Management System (OMS) Developer
Vector Consulting is looking for an experienced Sterling Order Management System (OMS) Developer on a remote 12 months renewable Government contract in Herndon, VA. Position Sterling Order Management System (OMS) Developer Task Description:
The agency is using agencys Sterling OMS product and leveraging the modern Sterling Order Hub application. We plan to upgrade our call center functionality in 2025 and 2026. The development team will use agency Sterling OMS and Angular to deploy new aspects of the Order Hub application as well as to customize client specific features as appropriate.
We are seeking a hands-on Sterling OMS Developer with experience in the Certified Container version, Order Hub, and Call Center migration. This role is focused on front-end & back-end development, Functional & Technical design documentation, and Level 3 production support in an Agile delivery environment. Required skills/Level of Experience : IBM Sterling OMS (Certified Container version) Minimum 4 years IBM Call Center for Commerce (Legacy Dojo) Minimum 2 years IBM Order Hub Minimum 1 years IBM Dev Toolkit - based development Minimum 2 years Java, J2EE Minimum 4 years SQL, DB2 Minimum 4 years XML, XSLT Minimum 4 years Angular, JSON Minimum 1 years IBM MQ, Docker, WebSphere Liberty Minimum 4 years Git, Jira - Minimum 4 years Experience working in Agile teams Minimum 2 years Required Functional Knowledge: B2B Order Management Minimum 2 years Drop Ship Fulfillment Minimum 2 years Shipment Tracking Minimum 2 years EDI Integrations Minimum 2 years Nice to have skills:
• Bachelors degree in computer science
• IBM Call Center for Commerce Next Gen (React)
• Kubernetes
• AWS: CloudWatch, EKS, S3
• Experience with Federal Clients & Public Trust Clearance Preferred
