STARs Pharmacist (Remote – Contract) Client: Fortune 5 Healthcare Organization Location: 100% Remote (EST/CST preferred) Contract Duration: 3 months (possibility to extend) Start Date: November 3, 2025 Pay Rate: $55/hr (W2) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (local time) Training: 1 week, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM EST About the Role We’re hiring 30 remote STARs Pharmacists to support a large national healthcare initiative focused on telephonic medication reviews, adherence counseling, and closing care gaps before year end. This role is ideal for licensed pharmacists with retail, payer, or provider backgrounds who thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven remote environment and enjoy working directly with patients over the phone. Key Responsibilities • Conduct telephonic medication consultations and comprehensive reviews with members. • Identify adherence barriers and collaborate with providers and pharmacies to resolve issues. • Provide education on medication therapy and chronic disease management. • Meet daily productivity expectations (17–20 medication reviews per day). • Document all clinical interactions accurately while navigating multiple systems. • Engage in coaching and collaboration with fellow clinicians to maintain quality and performance. Required Qualifications • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in your state of residence. • 1+ year of Clinical Pharmacy experience (retail, payer, or provider). • PharmD or equivalent from an ACPE-accredited program. • Strong multitasking, organization, and communication skills. • HIPAA-compliant home workspace with reliable wired high-speed internet. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Medication Therapy Management (MTM) or STARs measures. • Prior call center or telephonic experience. • Bilingual (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Russian) preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Board Certification or PGY1/PGY2 Residency a plus.
