Staff Software Engineer (Golang)

Stream uses Go for our video SFU & chat API. We power chat for many large apps like Strava, Nextdoor, Patreon, IBM, Adobe and Midjourney. In addition to Go we use CockroachDB/Postgres, and Redis.We are willing to train you on Go if you’re experienced on a different tech stack (we have a 10-week internal onboarding program focused on Go, scalability etc.). Solid engineering experience and motivation to learn is more relevant than prior experience with the language. Roles open from entry level to director/principal go engineers. This is a full-time job opening based in our Boulder office (hybrid mode, 3 days/week in the office presence is expected). We have wide ranges so we can be flexible and determine compensation based on a number of factors including the candidate's skills, level of experience, and location. For Colorado-based candidates, the salary range for this position is $156,500 -$205,300.
