We’re seeking a Staff Software Engineer (DevOps) to lead the development and evolution of our infrastructure, DevOps practices, and cloud strategy. In this high-impact role, you'll drive automation, scalability, and reliability across our engineering organization while mentoring teams and shaping platform-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and drive GoTu’s infrastructure vision and platform architecture
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure as code
• Mentor engineering teams and establish DevOps best practices across the organization
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams on scalability, reliability, and system performance
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for speed, cost efficiency, and resilience
• Lead incident response and implement comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions
• Research and implement innovative solutions to complex infrastructure challenges
• Oversee security practices and compliance across all environments
Key Competencies:
• Deep expertise with AWS services (EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda)
• Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration at scale
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tooling and automation (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Datadog or the ELK stack
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
• Strategic, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to lead through influence
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of software development experience with 4+ years in senior DevOps/Infrastructure roles
• Demonstrated success scaling infrastructure for high-availability, mission-critical applications
• Experience working in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments preferred
