Come build your future with us.Homebound is proud to be named one of Inc.’s Best Workplaces of 2023.About The Role:Homebound’s product organization is growing, and we’re seeking a Staff Product Manager with a proven track record of delivering value with innovative solutions to complex problems. We’re looking for somebody that is able to get up to speed quickly and have an immediate impact on our business. In this role, you will own a significant portion of the core platform that drives how we plan construction projects (take-offs, plans, finish schedules). This work drives critical, highly visible, company-wide KPIs.You will partner closely with design, engineering, and our machine learning teams to build next generation connected workflows across homeowners, architects, designers, estimators, construction superintendents, and trade partners. We are looking for someone who embodies our values of being one team that executes relentlessly to build what has never been built before: a technology-enabled, scaled-up home builder.What You'll DoDeliver on cutting-edge, user-centric solutions that optimize residential construction workflows, integrating human expertise with technology to deliver exceptional user experiencesDefine and communicate a comprehensive vision for improving our fully connected homebuilding platform, fostering alignment across cross-functional teams and translating that vision into a prioritized roadmapGather technical requirements from internal and external stakeholders — understanding the “why” behind the “what” people are asking forMake hard, high-stakes trade-offs between features, choosing those that are most likely to ensure that both business goals and user needs are metIdentify product gaps and gather product requirements through internal research, market research, customer research, and data analysisDevelop and maintain product specifications, user stories, and use cases to guide the design and development teams in building the productWhat You'll Bring:7+ years of experience in product management or product development3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projectsDemonstrated success at driving cross company initiatives in both startup and corporate environments Track record of defining, building and launching innovative customer-facing features that drive internal KPIs, reduce customer pain points and improve efficiencyYou’ve often been described as a “detail-oriented person” and have a knack for clear communication, formatted spreadsheets, and collaboration toolsYour strong quantitative skills allow you to ask and answer questions about the business, understand the impact of an initiative/product, and report on resultsYou’re a self-starter who sets ambitious goals and aims to surpass them. A focused, disciplined, and capable individual who effectively self-manages across multiple prioritiesTechnical depth that allows you to communicate with, understand, and earn the respect of world-class engineersBusiness savvy enough with the ability to break down complex initiatives to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organizationProven ability to lead in ambiguous environments, aligning across functions, teams, and orgs to deliver on time in a highly collaborative environmentWilling to travel once a month for in-person working sessionsNice to haves:Direct experience or passion for residential construction workflows and methodologiesExperience with applying AI/ML techniques to solve real world problemsWe will accept applications for this role until April 25th, 2025.We are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
