Staff Nurse (RN or LPN) -Nursing Home Located in Queens, NY Salary: $35/HR - $50/HR Range (Depending on Licensure) Qualifications of Staff Nurses-Nursing Home: • Must have New York nursing licensure (RN or LPN) • Must have assisted living/skilled nursing experience • Excellent oral and written communication skills Requirements of Staff Nurses-Nursing Home: • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Consult with doctors and other healthcare professionals to decide on the best treatment plans. • Be in strong physical condition, as they may often stand or move around throughout their shifts. • Ability to work as a team member with the nurses and nurse aides. Understanding of the behavior and needs of elderly people. Ability to communicate effectively to the residents, families, visitors and staff.
