Staff Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description: • Provide senior-level technical leadership to Manufacturing Engineering, Product Design, Production, Quality, and supporting functions. • Act as a recognized subject matter expert in a specialized manufacturing or process engineering discipline, offering guidance, analysis, and solutions to complex technical challenges. • Serve as a go-to technical authority for critical manufacturing issues, continuous improvement initiatives, and strategic projects. • Develop and deliver internal training, mentoring, and technical guidance to strengthen manufacturing competency and succession across the organization. • Evaluate, specify, recommend, and lead the acquisition and implementation of manufacturing equipment, tooling, automation, and process technologies to enhance safety, quality, cost, delivery, and global competitiveness. • Partner closely with Sales, Program Management, Design Engineering, and customers as a senior technical interface during development, launch, and production phases. • Lead or contribute to enterprise-wide manufacturing initiatives, special projects, and advanced problem-solving efforts as assigned. Requirements: • Deep expertise in a specialized area of manufacturing engineering (e.g., advanced manufacturing processes, automation, tooling design, lean manufacturing, materials processing, or industrialization). • Recognized technical authority by peers and leadership; external recognition within the industry strongly preferred. • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor technical professionals. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Proven success in fast-paced manufacturing environments with evolving technical and business demands. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. • Proficient in standard engineering tools, manufacturing systems, and computer-based software applications relevant to the role. • Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline (minimum). • Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering or related technical roles demonstrating increasing responsibility and influence.
