Staff Data Scientist - Notification & Engagement Strategy

We are seeking talented Data Scientists to join our Guest & Host Experience Data Science team.
As a Staff Data Scientist in the Notification & Engagement space, you will be instrumental in shaping our strategy to drive user engagement and satisfaction.
You will collaborate with XF partners across product, engineering, design and marketing to improve and personalize notifications.
Research and develop metrics to measure notification fatigue.
Partner with Engineering teams to develop and evaluate models to optimize notifications.
Perform a deep-dive analysis of the effectiveness of various product experiences.
Regularly present findings and recommendations to inform strategy and cross-functional roadmaps.
Requirements:
Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics, or a related field.
9+ years of relevant industry experience (6+ with a PhD).
Proven ability to effectively communicate and influence at various altitudes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with XFN partners in product, engineering, and design to enable data-driven product development with a focus on the user experience.
Experience with causal inference and machine learning techniques, ideally in a multi-sided platform setting.
Prior experience in notifications and/or marketing is preferred.
