Senior Frontend Engineer
About the Role As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Quo, you'll join one of our specialised Engineering teams working on our innovative communication platform. You'll contribute to building and enhancing a product that thousands of businesses rely on daily, and join one of our teams across our Engineering pillars, who own different areas of our platform: Workflow Automation, who develop a highly configurable workflow engine that caters to the diverse operational needs of SMBs using Quo. Technical Stack and Tools: Our frontend is a Single Page Application built with React and MobX, using TypeScript. We develop in a monorepo powered by pnpm and Turborepo. We use Storybook for Component driven development. Components are implemented with Vanilla Extract for the styles, React Aria, and our already existing Design System components. We write tests using Vitest and Playwright & use Sentry as our frontend observability tool. We are also updating our stack to include Relay & GraphQL. Other Tools: Figma, Heap, Linear, Notion, and Slack About you: Strong experience with with React & Typescript Proven track record of architecting large-scale frontend architectures & building design systems and component libraries You enjoy taking an open ended problem and collaborating with others to design & build a delightful end user experience. You are knowledgeable about web performance, observability, and accessibility. You take ownership of your work and understand the importance of communication. You hold yourself to a high standard and help empower others to do the same. You are intentional about how your work impacts customers, community, and each other. When working in the codebase, you leave things better than you found them. Compensation The annual base salary range for this position in Canada is $192,000 - $212,000 CAD, plus equity and benefits. This range is designed to align with market rates in areas where we are actively recruiting across Canada. The range displayed reflects the target for new hire salaries, and within this range, individual pay is determined by your skills and experience, as well as relevant education. Your recruiter can share more and answer questions about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Salary is just one component of Quo's total compensation package.
