Staff Accountant

Heritage Restaurant Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage financial reporting and compliance. The role involves overseeing cost accounting, cash flow analysis, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines across departments. Responsibilities General Cost accounting and other related duties Cash flow analysis: prepare and manage cash flow projections Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis Reconciliation of bank accounts Monthly financial closings Ensure all departments adhere to financial guidelines Internal Controls: Oversee all audit and internal control operations to ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelines Establish, maintain and monitor accounting policies and procedures Risk Management: Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems Skills Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices Solid knowledge of accounting and financial analysis and forecasting Understanding of and ability to adhere to general accepted accounting principles Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, RAMP) An analytical mind with strategic ability Excellent organizational and leadership skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field MBA or CPA is a plus Company Overview The Heritage Restaurant Group is dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences across its portfolio of restaurants.
