Staff Accountant

They are seeking a Staff Accountant to drive the monthly close process and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.ResponsibilitiesPerform general accounting duties include various components of the month-end close processes, including journal entry preparation and reconciliationsPrepare, examine, or analyze accounting records and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance with GAAPConsolidated balance sheet and income statement analysisProcess vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies while maintaining up‑to‑date and organized AP records and annual 1099 reportingProviding accounting support to various constituents (e.g., FP&A, Actuary, HR, legal)Perform other related responsibilities as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or relative work experience1+ years of accounting work experienceSolid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulationsHealthcare industry experienceIntercompany allocations and system automation experienceMicrosoft Excel (Pivot Table, Lookup functions, etc.)BenefitsShort-term incentivesComprehensive benefits packageCompany OverviewHonest Health is the leader in primary care transformation.
