Role: Senior Workday Payroll Functional Lead
Location: San Antonio, TX ( Mostly Remote, Need someone from Texas)
Duration: 12+ Months with possible extension
Job Description:
Required Experience:
ā¢ Lead and support Workday Payroll implementations and enhancements
ā¢ Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting, configuring, and leading Workday implementations.
ā¢ Migration from Legacy to Workday
ā¢ Proven experience with U.S. and/or Canada Payroll processes, regulations, and compliance is a plus.
ā¢ Strong understanding of payroll lifecycle, compliance, and taxation processes.
ā¢ Extensive experience in multi-entity environments.
ā¢ Experience with data migration and integration tools is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
ā¢ Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of Workday s data structure, business processes, security model, and configuration options across in-scope Workday modules.
ā¢ Methodical Testing and meticulous attention to detail in data validation, configuration and documentation.
ā¢ Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex business objectives into system requirements for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
ā¢ Works under little supervision
Required Qualifications
ā¢ Education: Bachelor s degree in information technology, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
Certifications:
ā¢ Must be Workday Certified in multiple modules, with a mandatory certification in Workday HCM.
ā¢ Additional certifications in Workday Payroll, Advanced Compensation, or Talent are highly preferred
