Key Responsibilities
Design and develop new features for our plugin portfolio, with a focus on WP Activity Log and WP 2FA
Identify and implement AI integration opportunities to enhance our development workflows and product features
Review, contribute, and improve our existing open-source codebases
Collaborate with support and product teams to troubleshoot and fix bugs
Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress and web security trends
Uphold high code quality standards through thorough reviews, testing, and best practices
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for projects
Requirements
5+ years of experience developing WordPress plugins (free and/or premium)
6+ years of experience working with PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL
Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, including hooks, REST API, security best practices, and performance
Solid knowledge of WordPress/web security, with experience in logging/logs, authentication, and user account security
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Experience with AI tools, especially those that accelerate development or enhance plugin features
Experience with Git and conflict resolution
Comfortable working in a remote team and capable of working independently
Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
Nice to Have
Recognized author profile in the WordPress space
Proactive and detail-oriented, with a passion for building user-friendly and effective software solutions
