Important Notes from Hiring Manager: This org. has recently moved to a Cloudpak (Openshift) environment so that experience is essential. Candidates must also have CI/CD pipelines experience. Candidate will be doing patches, installs, checking for vulnerabilities, etc. in this role as well. He/she must have troubleshooting and small programming skills (very limited coding) as needed.

Approx. 10 team members

Required Skills:
Experience with Websphere (Admin side) is required
Must have experience using: Liberty/NodeJS (admin side) & WebLogic administration
Strong CloudPak/Openshift (DevOps experience) required
Must have some ability to do programming (when/if needed)
Must have a general understanding of CI/CD Pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)

Description:
IT Sr. Systems Engineers provide technical support, troubleshoot problem and perform scripting/programming to ensure stable and efficient operation of technology solutions.

Essential functions:
IT Sr. Systems Engineers are responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of websphere/Liberty/nodeJS/WebLogic solutions. IT Systems Engineers provide technical support, troubleshoot problem and perform scripting etc. Experience in CloudPak/OpenShift platform devopts nodejs administration Jenkins, GIT lab etc is a plus. They should be conversant with websphere migrations along with Liberty, Client, netscaler configurations. Tomcat servers experience and other opensource web servers experience is also required for this particular assignment. Experience in SOC2/ OIG/CMS auditing preparation, Vulnerability management and applying the patches for the Audit remediation etc is a must. They should be able to do coding in common languages in case of necessities for system's monitoring and other related functionalities.
• Performs on-call activities as needed for the environment and technologies

Required Education:
Related Bachelor's degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience
