Remote Full-time
Sr. Technical Program Manager, EV Charging & Infrastructure Products

Amazon is building the largest EV fleet and charging network in the world as part of our Climate Pledge. The Sr. Technical Program Manager will oversee key drivers of our reliability KPIs, including charging hardware qualification and components of charger performance management. You'll be joining a fast-paced team building... from zero-to-one. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly customer-obsessed, excited to manage hardware products with software integrations, and mechanism/process-focused.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage charger qualification for both L2 AC and L3 DC chargers, including selection of third party labs responsible for reliability testing.
• Create and implement test case tracking mechanisms across makes/models of chargers and firmware versions & mechanisms to communicate/summarize test results to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and oversee hardware and software performance management mechanisms including bug/hardware issue tracking and prioritization, and firmware version control.
• Manage vehicle-to-charger interoperability testing.

A day in the life

You'll start off the morning by reviewing progress on qualification and other testing, and ensuring our engineering team is prioritizing their time according to the most pressing testing needs. You'll write a goal update on our director-level qualification goal.

You'll then review incoming tickets from field issues ahead of a weekly standup with our in-life services team to prioritize pressing issues for our hardware vendors to fix, and provide updates to the field teams on fix timelines.

In the afternoon, you'll work on a document describing patterns you're seeing in field issues and recommending changes to our product requirements based on common field problems.
