About the position
As a Senior Site Merchandiser on the Digital Marketing Strategy & Experience team at Target, you will enhance the in-store experience in the digital realm, focusing on driving engagement on Target.com and the Target app. Your role involves developing and executing strategies that optimize digital performance, improve conversion rates, and create seamless shopping experiences, particularly for the Gifting initiative. You will leverage your strategic mindset, analytical skills, and creativity to deliver engaging top-of-funnel experiences.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement site merchandising experience and traffic driving strategies to enhance guest engagement.

• Translate insights into actionable plans that optimize the guest journey and improve conversion rates.

• Plan and execute engaging site content in collaboration with Category Site Merchandising and Marketing teams.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and guest behavior to refine strategies and inform business decisions.

• Establish partnerships across Digital, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to create cohesive digital experiences.

• Identify opportunities for innovation in merchandising, technology, and processes to enhance guest experiences.

• Maintain accountability for delivering financial results and driving topline sales.
Requirements
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience

• 4+ years of e-commerce experience
,
• Strong business acumen with a revenue-generating mindset
,
• Technical acumen combined with a creative sensibility
,
• Understanding of e-commerce trends and innovations

• Experience in strategic and cross-functional influence, planning, and execution

• High level of initiative and organization

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
