Position Details Position: Quant Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $53–$74/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 20–30 hours/week Role Responsibilities • Collaborate with AI researchers to design, train, and validate quantitative and statistical models. • Apply advanced mathematical, statistical, and computational methods to enhance model performance and stability. • Evaluate and refine algorithmic frameworks to ensure robustness, precision, and reliability. • Contribute to the training and fine-tuning of AI systems, ensuring they reason accurately in quantitative contexts. • Participate in synchronous collaboration sessions (4-hour windows, 2–3 times per week) to review experiments, debug models, and exchange technical insights. Qualifications • Strong academic or professional background in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or Quantitative Finance. • Expertise in probability, optimisation, and numerical analysis. • Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used for quantitative work (Python, C++, Julia, R, or Rust). • Experience with simulation systems, data analysis, or machine learning frameworks is a strong plus. • Excellent analytical reasoning, communication, and collaboration skills. • Ability to commit to 20–30 hours per week, including the required synchronous collaboration periods.
