Sr Project Manager

The role will typically manage several concurrent and highly visible projects that provide critical business value. You will lead, mobilize and motivate cross-functional teams, execute on project plans, clear roadblocks, and navigate project dependencies.The successful candidate must have exceptional organizational and communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strategic mindset with an exceptional business acumen. The role is expected to provide progress reports to senior management and C-Suite executives on all project initiatives.What You Will Do As a member of the Project Management Organization (PMO), you will drive and support delivery of critical initiatives.Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective planning, execution, and coordination of complex strategic projectsDefine and manage project scope, schedule, resources, dependencies and constraints while focusing on regular and timely delivery of milestonesAssign, track, and follow-up on various tasks while holding individuals accountable to commitments on all projectsOrganize and lead project status meetings across several concurrent projects while keeping stakeholders regularly updatedResolve obstacles by creating the appropriate modifications to the project plan to minimize risks and issuesSupport the project sponsor in managing expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governanceDefine and manage a well-defined project management process, communication channels and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practicesEnsure program goals and objectives are achieved within established time frames and budgetary parametersTravel/Physical DemandsTravel typically less than 10%Office environment with no special physical demands requiredWhat You Will HaveBachelor’s Degree5+ years of related professional experience, preferably in a SaaS/software environmentExperience working with multiple teams and driving cross-functional initiatives with various stakeholders and project dependenciesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to convey complex information to technical and non-technical audiencesStrong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teamsStrategic mindset for goal identification and task prioritizationAbility to analyze problems, think critically, and make informed decisionsKnowledge of technology platforms and software implementationStrong relationship-building and management skillsNegotiation and influencing abilitiesComfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment with changing prioritiesNice to HavesMaster’s Degree in Business AdministrationPMP, Lean Six Sigma or Agile CertifiedExperience handling enterprise and key strategic projectsExperience implementing PMO practices and standardsThe posted range for this position is $95,000-$115,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
