ā¢ *Job Summary**
We are seeking a
ā¢ *Senior Network Engineer**
to support a large-scale migration from
ā¢ *on-prem VMware to Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE)**
. This is a client-facing role requiring a hands-on expert to lead
ā¢ *design, implementation, and operations**
across hybrid environments.
This role plays a critical part in:
ā¢ Migrating traditional firewalls to Illumio host-based firewalls
ā¢ Transitioning load balancers from NetScaler/Citrix ADC to F5
ā¢ Supporting Palo Alto firewalls within Google Cloud Platform environments
ā¢ *Required Skills
ā¢ Strong hands-on Illumio (microsegmentation, policy design)
ā¢ Deep expertise in Palo Alto firewalls & Panorama
ā¢ Experience with F5 and NetScaler/Citrix ADC
ā¢ Strong networking knowledge (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs)
ā¢ Hands-on Google Cloud Platform networking (VPC, VPN, Cloud Router, LB)
ā¢ Experience with VMware migrations to cloud (GCVE preferred)
ā¢ Scripting & automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
ā¢ Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
ā¢ Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
ā¢ *Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Design and implement enterprise network and security architectures across on-prem and Google Cloud Platform
ā¢ Lead Illumio microsegmentation policy lifecycle (design, testing, enforcement)
ā¢ Deploy and manage Palo Alto firewalls & Panorama (NAT, VPN, security policies)
ā¢ Engineer and troubleshoot F5 & NetScaler load balancing solutions
ā¢ Support VMware to GCVE migration (network + firewall transitions)
ā¢ Troubleshoot complex L2āL7 issues using packet capture and logs
ā¢ Automate network workflows using Python / PowerShell / Bash
ā¢ Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform
ā¢ Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams
ā¢ Maintain documentation, diagrams, and runbooks
ā¢ *Nice to Have**
ā¢ Multi-cloud or SD-WAN experience
ā¢ Zero Trust architecture exposure
ā¢ Certifications:
ā¢ PCNSE
ā¢ CCNP / CCIE
ā¢ F5 Certification
ā¢ Google Cloud Platform Network Engineer
