Responsibilities Remote working at contract manufacturers site for this position. However, travel is required if requested to other contract manufacturer sites Working closely with contract manufacturers/suppliers by leading the manufacturing process development and validation activities; and reviewing whole manufacturing processes, equipment and tooling Collaborate with Engineering/R&D, Quality and Production team during NPI (New Product Introduction) development process by driven on DFM (Design for Manufacturing), PFMEA, Control Plan feedback for product & process development to release the product with the project timeline to mass production. Lead product line process and layout optimization for capacity planning to meet the flexibility and dynamic demand requirement at any point of time Lead or support for continuous improvement, transition, sustaining projects and any product design change verification by handling engineering changes notice, alignment with contract manufacturers for the changes impacted and tracking Identify the opportunities to optimize and improve manufacturing process for yield, cycle time, quality, throughput and cost effectiveness. Responsible for production line issues and conduct rapid problem-solving skills with contract manufacturers to resolve issues with root cause analysis, minimum downtime, implement & control the permanent corrective actions by using data driven tools (SPC, DOE, statistical analysis). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronic, Information System Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Industrial or related field in Science and Technology. Minimum 5 years’ working experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering roles. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, RCA and continuous improvement tools Proficiency in statistical analysis tools, problem solving skills & analysis and methodologies Being proactive in getting things done, self-driven, high accountability and able to work independently. Good teamwork, strong communication, project management skills for cross functions driven result, able to work under pressure and priorities multiple projects/tasks Good English verbal and written communication is required, while able to communicate in Chinese will be a plus Willingly to travel if required Company Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
