This role is ideal for hands-on, driven individuals who want to be at the forefront of AI innovation—designing and deploying LLM-powered agents that provide dynamic, context-aware, and personalized chat experiences. As a Senior Engineer, you will contribute to the development of agentic AI platforms that leverage LangGraph, multi-agent orchestration, and LLM tool use to deliver scalable, secure, and human-centric solutions. You will work across architecture, product, and engineering teams to build the next generation of conversational AI that empowers our members throughout their health journeys.What We Expect of You:Proven experience designing and deploying agentic AI systems using LLMs, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or LangChainDeep understanding of LLM tool use, memory management, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-agent collaborationStrong ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders to define and implement scalable, extensible AI architecturesExperience building stateful, goal-driven agents that can reason, plan, and act autonomously in complex environmentsPassion for building human-centric AI that is ethical, explainable, and aligned with user needs and regulatory standardsExcellent communication and evangelism skills to influence technical direction and promote best practicesResponsibilities Include:Architect and implement agentic AI chat systems that integrate LLMs with tools, APIs, and memory for dynamic task executionDesign and develop LangGraph-based workflows for orchestrating multi-step, multi-agent interactionsCollaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering Leads to define AI capabilities and roadmapBuild and maintain reference architectures, POCs, and technical documentation to guide engineering teamsEnsure AI systems meet non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, observability, and securityMentor engineers and foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning in GenAIAdvocate for responsible AI practices, ensuring compliance with PII/PHI handling, ADA, and other regulatory standardsStay current with advancements in LLMs, agentic frameworks, and AI safety to inform strategic decisionsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in AI/ML or LLM-based application development2+ years of hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel)2+ years of experience building agentic AI systems or autonomous agents using OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source LLMsStrong proficiency in Python, FastAPI, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Weaviate), and RAG pipelinesExperience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), microservices, and API-first developmentFamiliarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and observability tools for AI systemsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with LangGraph or similar graph-based agent orchestration toolsKnowledge of LLMOps, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning or RAG optimizationExperience with chatbot frameworks, voice assistants, or multimodal agentsBackground in healthcare, HIPAA compliance, or regulated AI systemsStrong understanding of AI safety, alignment, and ethical AI designExcellent communication and presentation skillsCompensation, Benefits and DurationMinimum Compensation: USD 48,000Maximum Compensation: USD 168,000Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate.
