The Role
Our Communications Transformation group is looking for a Sr. Consultant with 5 to 11 years of experience in UI/UX design for a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in UI/UX design implementation and execution. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the company’s goals and positively impact the client in designing best of breed applications which are user friendly.
We’re looking for Senior Consultants who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. At the Senior Consultant level, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in UI/UX design implementation and execution. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the company’s goals and positively impact the client in designing best of breed applications which are user friendly.

Responsibilities
· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior UI/UX designers to enhance team capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs in the application development.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation.
• Work with client employees to conduct research interviews and synthesize notes to understand current end to end processes in their legacy programs.
• Work with cognizant development teams to design and build based on research to enhance process flows and cut down on time spent within the new program.
• Present and gain feedback from ambassador groups to enhance the UX and UI of all the working features.
• Create wireframes to get stakeholder feedback before working with the developer to implement changes
Qualifications
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in UI/UX design or a related field.
• Have extensive experience in UI/UX design implementation.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Display the ability to manage design projects from start to finish ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Possess the capability to mentor and guide junior designers.
• Have experience in providing training and support to end-users on UI/UX design related issues.
