Pay rate: $30/hr to $38/hr

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
• Strong functional/technical knowledge and expertise with relevant systems/applications

in the healthcare benefits area.
• Experience of working with qualified Health Plans, and various segments/LoBs, Group

level Product and benefit plans.
• Defines, evaluates, and validates requirements, business functional design, and technical

design for complex business issues within their domain areas.
• Knowledge of Benefits1 Simplify Healthcare and other cloud-based systems

(Highroads, PEGA, Salesforce, etc.), Queries, and SQL.
• Knowledge of working on Facets is a plus
• Provide advanced technical knowledge and support in system/application and

procedural issues to the business and IT.
• Proactive and independent worker with a team mindset, collaborates well with others,

and has an open mind to change.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge and support in system/application and

procedural issues to the business and IT.
• Analyze and develop solutions and applicable business processes for business systems

while identifying and quantifying the business impact of those solutions to ensure

quality, cost effectiveness, timeliness, and customer service, including the resolution of

large, complex production system problems.
• Provide systems analysis expertise and regularly considers the business implications of

the application of technology to the current business environment.

• Defines, evaluates, and validates requirements, business functional design, and technical

design for complex business issues within their domain areas.
• Configure and maintain critical system tables and data elements across multiple system

environments.
• Analyze, develop, and implement configuration changes to improve system performance

and user efficiency.
• Coordinate the development of system support processes with IT; coordinate to resolve

production support issues, including application failures and user errors; document,

track and report all system support activities.
• Ensure efficiency of reporting and data tools for supported business area use and for

trend analysis.
• Function as a Business Lead/Coordinator on large, complex departmental and/or some

corporate projects/initiatives.
• Serve as point of contact for business testing activities and influence testing strategy to

ensures testing will appropriately meet business requirements.
• Train/coach others on appropriate testing protocol, execution, and test plan creation.
• Assist IT and help identify business area impacts for hardware and software upgrades,

security changes, and architectural enhancements as needed.

Qualifications, Minimum qualifications
• Knowledge of Benefits1 Simplify Healthcare and other cloud-based systems

(Highroads, PEGA, Salesforce, etc.), Queries, and SQL.
• Undergraduate degree with 5 years of direct application/systems analysis experience with

applicable business system or application, if no degree, 7 years’ experience as stated above.
• 5 years + Experience in Healthcare Industry with focus on benefits (benefits, claims,

membership, enrollment, Customer Service etc.)
• Understanding for FACETS application (front end and back end)
• Provide advanced technical knowledge and support in system/application and procedural

issues to the business and IT.
• Proactive and independent worker with a team mindset, collaborates well with others, and

has an open mind to change.
• Project Management Skills
• Very good communication and facilitation skills to communicate with multiple stakeholders

and leadership

Preferred Skills
• Strong facilitation skills that include workgroup leadership and/or problem resolution

across multiple groups.
