The ideal candidate will optimize database performance, write complex queries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility. Key Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Design and implement database objects, including tables, indexes, and views. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to ensure high availability and performance. Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams to gather requirements and implement solutions. Perform data modeling, normalization, and database design based on business requirements. Support ETL processes and data integration activities. Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for improvements. Document database design, processes, and changes following best practices. Required Skills: Strong experience in T-SQL, SQL Server, and relational database concepts. Proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views. Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies. Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling. Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, or other SQL Server tools is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: Exposure to cloud-based SQL platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
